One day on site, six weeks of cycling, and no livestock until the water says yes. Here is exactly what happens.

Who brings what.

We bring

  • Tank, cabinet and levelling shims
  • Filter, heater, lighting and timers
  • Aquasoil, capping sand, hardscape
  • RO water for the first fill
  • Test kit and a written log sheet

You provide

  • A socket within two metres
  • Floor that takes the loaded weight
  • Access wide enough for the tank
  • Somewhere to put the packaging
  • A decision about the fish, eventually

The day itself.

  1. 08:30Arrive, protect the floor, unpack
  2. 09:30Cabinet levelled, tank seated, checked twice
  3. 11:00Hardscape laid out and photographed for you
  4. 13:00Soil, sand, planting
  5. 16:00First fill, filter primed, log started
  6. 17:30We leave. No fish for six weeks.
